Julia is a graduate student in the Neuroscience Training Program. She is interested in understanding the risk factors involved in the development of childhood psychopathology. Using multimodal neuroimaging along with other methods, she hopes to study the relationships between anxiety, sleep, and emotion in children and adolescents. More specifically she hopes to examine the unique characteristics of mental health in young girls. In her free time, she loves cross-country skiing, reading, baking, and playing board games with friends and family.
